Ann Thomas, Founder

Ann Thomas, Owner and Founder

A native of the beautiful island of Antigua, Ann is no stranger to the Performing Arts. Her father Rupert is a well-known entertainer and her sister Constance owns a dance production company. Growing up, Ann was always writing poetry and short stories, dancing, singing, acting, and rapping in local talent shows. A natural born encourager, Ann founded Broken Into Wholeness Ministry, now Ann Thomas Ministry in 2003 for the purpose of encouraging, equipping, and inspiring women of all ages to boldly walk in the power that comes with being joint heirs with Christ. A lover of Jesus Christ, Ann considers it a great privilege to touch many lives through various speaking engagements and attributes her current and future success to her faith in God. Ann wrote and directed the popular stage plays: "She is Not Who I Thought, She is My Mother, "The Breaking Point," "How Much is Enough," and "A Christmas to Remember." She also wrote, directed, and produced, "It's a New Day," a local sitcom that drew hundreds of viewers each week.

Ann realized there were very few opportunities for the talented men and women in the Tampa Bay area to display their talents on stage on a regular basis. The Local production companies were only interested in actors/actresses with prior experience. If no one is willing to give the up-and-coming talent an opportunity, then how else would they gain the experience?

When Ann established Mind Body and Soul Productions in 2007, the goal was to provide a regular opportunities actors and actresses of all ages to display their talents, while inspiring others. And that's what Mind Body and Soul Productions is all about - - encouraging emotional (mind), physical (body) and spiritual (soul) growth through the Performing Arts. ‘We want to affect positive change in the lives we have the privilege and opportunity to impact. Bringing powerful, life-changing messages, we want to enlighten audiences while they are being entertained.

Ann is currently writing her first book to be released later this year. She is married to her soul mate Henry, has two wonderful sons, Anthony and Anthony and currently resides in the Tampa Bay Area.
